  • Establish a grant for a special needs family to receive services, equipment, respite, etc.

WHO WE HOPE TO BECOME

Project Limitless aspires to become a non-profit organization with a 3-fold mission:

  1. Provide medical and financial aid for adults with special needs as well as those with different physical abilities so they can thrive in their communities and live fulfilling lives

  2. Create and maintain a day program where those with special needs can find a healthy and welcoming home

  3. Provide education for the public as well as for medical professionals regarding special considerations and the specific needs of these populations

Our Vision:

To become a national leader in providing medical and financial aid for special needs and differently abled populations with chapters in different cities (to include day programs) and a full educational arm helping providers improve their standards of care, including those we employ

Our Story

S&T are two special needs friends who worked first with Kaitlyn for music therapy. Kaitlyn identified movement needs and approached Kelsey to help and provide quality therapy to, together, result in the improvement of these friends' lives. The experience of working together with these special needs friends brought both Kelsey and Kaitlyn to realize that, while these families were lucky to afford to continue services for their child, not every family has that luxury. It also brought to the forefront of our minds the financial struggles of anyone who does not move or exist in a physically or neurologically typical way.

These frustrations initially manifested as an idea for a walk to encourage S to continue to work in therapy and increase his strength and community participation and expanded to include Kaitlyn’s dream for a day program that provides adults with special needs a place to continue to thrive and grow, as well as Kelsey’s dreams of education medical professionals on how to think outside the box to treat these populations.

We were  fortunate enough that, after hearing our story, Jenny began to pour her heart and soul into the missing, encouraging Kaitlyn and Kelsey to take the leap and make this dream a reality.

Project limitless is the result of frustration with the barriers and expenses those with physical impairments and special needs encounter just in the pursuit of living life.

We believe that everyone should be able to afford the tools they need to thrive, and strive to create a welcoming environment where everyone has a place to go to thrive as well as the financial support to obtain the therapies, care, and tools they need
